Here is the stats:
Sample size = 50, mean of sample size is 1.137, standard deviation: 1.029
My objective is to determine the coorelation between homework completed and grades students in my stats class.
Grades(number of students):
A=21, B=16, C=9, D=3, F=1; median: B
Times study per week:
0 times= 18 students, 1 times=14 students, 2 times=13 studetnts, everyday= 5 students; median: Once a week.

You got me floored on this. First, what is your observation for which you have a mean and s.d.?
Next, you seem to be switching to some discrete interval analysis, for which means and s.d. is not appropriate. What gives?
