The love of my life is my daughter and yes I would give her my heart if it meant she could live. Have you ever seen the movie "John Q"? Its about a dad who wants to give his son his heart after trying to find the money to pay for a heart transplant for him. Its a really good movie. I highly recommend it.

I don't know. I'd like to think I would but until I'm faced with that situation I don't really know and neither does anyone else.
People may say yes now because it sounds so noble and heroic,yet when they actually end up in the moment facing their own inevitable death fear more than likely will take over causing a different reaction, so I don't know.

No I would not do it as one can't give their own heart and live. I would think my mate would like me to raise the children on all the insurance money I was to get. Lol Just joking about the ins. but my answer is still no nor would I expect the answer from my mate to be anything but no.

IF the absolute love of my life was going to die i would feel as if i had no feeling to live. So I would rather die in knowing i am saving someone rather than live in grief forever. I would do it in a heartbeat. ( get the irony? ) i hope i helped you. =] really good question
