No from what I know of him I do not think so.
BUT
The Liberal America would. If they vote him Dem's candidate in the election anything could happen. If the economy goes south right before the election, or if some so called newsman runs a story with made up facts so close to the election that there is no time to get the truth out to the people.........Then anything is possible.

Socialists make up less than 3% of the voting populace and they would vote for Obama. Quite a few people will vote for him for racist reasons, not because he is the best man for the job.
But clearly, I do not believe he has a prayer of carrying the majority of Democrats much less any independents or repubs. Certainly there are small percentages of those who would vote for him, more as a protest against Bush, which is stupid since Bush is not running, go figure.
Obama could beat clinton in the primary, very possible at this point. clinton will not be able to win the general which is why I believe there is such strong support from the leftists for Obama, they know clinton has no chance. But look at Obama, what he says, what he does, who his supporters are, he is seriously shallow and will move based on what his money tells him to do, today he is a socialist, if his money told him to stand on his head and pick his nose, he would. AMericans see that for what it is, another politician owned by BIG MONEY.
for the idiot who says we voted out a "boatload" of rightwingers, your ignorance is complete, 28 new congresspeople replaced incumbents of that group replaced four could have been called conservative, the rest were RINOS and most had less than 12 years in congress, what a moron.

They just interviewed his minister on tv and the man said it was the USA's fault for 9/11! Not our intelligance but violence, etc. The guy also is really racist against whites. I would never vote for him after this as he mentored Obama for years. I wouldn't of anyways but this sealed the deal.

America's basically conservative, so it would definitely work against him, but if he's charming like JFK they might be willing to accept his liberalism for a few years.

obama follows the money like the rest of them do. and the moneyed are usually republicans or conservatives of some sort, not leftists.
the question here is, does sir barack have enough experience in government to lead this country? nope. prince obama talks a good line, but he is nothing but hot air. obama is not yet ready for the presidency. he looks pretty good, not too good, in his swimming trunks...
hillary has paid her dues, so she will see to it that she takes the democratic nomination over obama. she can pull strings, that woman, but she is really a FRONT. actually, i think both of them are fronts, but hillary has more governmental experience.
hillary is very good at changing the manner in which she speaks depending on her audience: if it is black or southern, she uses the southern accent that is used in AK. hillary is great at manipulation of the audience or anyone that interviews her. everything is practiced, hillary anticipates every question and can handle them well. yet hillary has always had her feminist agenda in front of her, and i don't think that feminism is a major issue in this country.
but. TERRORISM is in fact the issue: WHO amongst all of the potentials will be effective against terrorists? tancredo? basically, all you hear from him is talk against illegal mexican aliens.
who can come up to bat to prevent another 911 from ever happening in this country again? who is able and willing to perpetually show force (not in iraq, in the region) against the horrid muslims that are worse than hitler since hitler was working on building the aryan race. but these muslims, vast numbers of them and growing in leaps and bounds (many women have up to 19 babies, until their bodies are worn out, then i guess, they are good enough to act on behalf of their cowardly husbands, as a human bomb against his muslim enemies that do not place their hands in prayer like he does) whose purpose it is, according to them, TO KILL YOU AND TO KILL ME AND TO KILL ANYONE that doesn't choose to read their little pieces of paper in their little muslim books--the qu'ran (koran).
it is of utmost importance that the armed forces, which the president is chief of (but only can initiate war by congressional act) has our forces in place in perpetuity in the middle east and the persian gulf unless these terrible life takers and destroyers of humans outside of their MUSLIM type are able to sit down to make treaties not to attack non muslims, and actually live up to that. do you think they are ready now? i do not. and i do not see that barack obama would even be able to scare them by saying "boo!"--he is too much of a milquetoast. these highly dedicated and funded killing machines, the muslims, who unfortunately are also living in our midst, are ready, willing, and able to wipe all of us off the face of the planet should they continue to get help from north korea to develop The Bomb. (i wonder what accomplishment they will actually make if they would kill all of us off--who would be left to add cultural and artistic beauty to their kind)?
this is the reason that someone as tough as nails is voted into office. i'd prefer that we have a candidate that has actually been in combat long enough to know just what our forces fight and die for, one that saw his best friends get blown up by the enemy.
sir obama just isn't ready to step up to the plate. he's full of ideals that will not materialize unless we, as individual human beings and as americans act on our own to make them happen. being that greed runs it all, do you think you'd jeopardize your job to live up to your ideals that match those of a left winger?
