You're one tough white lady, most whites don't talk like that, I'm surprised they didn't report you for speaking the truth.

I do not believe the most appropriate way to address this question is by creating the idea that there is somehow a contest for victimization between Jews and Africans. The problem here is oppression and those who believe one race of people is superior to another. You are young and perhaps you have not been exposed to a black person willing to speak their mind about slavery or the historical facts. Jewish people have the tenets of their faith to guide them and a strong cultural base. The black culture in America is severely divided and black people are of many different faiths. I think that this could be the root of the issues you suggest.

There have been no reparations paid to the Jews, unless you count establishing Israel.
In my opinion the systematic murder of millions of Jews (Roma, homosexuals, communists, Slavs, etc.) is worse than systematic forced labor. It's really apples and oranges, but as bad as slavery was the idea of the whole thing wasn't to wipe a race/religion off the face of the earth. If you boil it down it's murder vs. slavery. Some would rather be dead than a slave. Most slaves had that option (and chose slavery) whereas most Jews in Nazi Germany didn't.

when did Jews get reparation from America? it's equally as bad are you slow? any kind of genocide/slavery is equally as bad. people were abused and killed. why don't you get over yourself.
people need to look to the future and live in the present and learn from the past. everyone needs to get over it all.
I'm not paying anyone for something i didn't do. if someone wants reparation. go dig up old white peoples graves.

What about the government sanctioned Holocaust against the Native Americans in the 1830's supported by the United States Government? How come no one ever talks about that one?

ooh, I don't agree with you.
You can not compare the two.
It is a hard thing to tell either of the groups to get over it. Their ancestors were tormented in a way that would be hard to just forget. But I also think that seeing as this generation never actually committed the crimes we can't be held acountable either.

I don't think that this is a topic where you can determine which was worse. Both were very tragic and cannot be compared. All I can say is that I'm glad both are done and over with.
