Was that before or after Cambodia,or before he (Kerry) was C.I.A..Now did he serve yes did he deserve the p/h not really.I 've never heard of self applying for a p/h(Kerry did).

Wow... 3 purple hearts so "Paper Cut Kerry" could finish his tour after 4 months, none bad enough to be hospitalized and self inflicted to boot. He was told to take a hike by other officers when he asked them to submit paperwork to get them. Kerry just did it himself. Kerry couldnt even drive a boat correctly. Bush flew jets. Dummies cant fly jets, skippy!

Kerry didnt receive his purple hearts until he applied for them half a dozen times, he had time on his hands since he was only over in vietname for 4 months and was sitting in safety repeatedly applying for awards until he got them.
By the time he got the awards neither one of them was in the military.
His first purple heart he got a scratch on his arm from from a bullet casing of their own, no one even fired at them.
Next two purple hearts also very minor wounds he didnt miss more than some time to put a bandaid on.

I'm more concerned with the time Kerry spent with Hanoi Jane than about Bush's so called AWOL time which was proved on here not to be true.

Do a little research on Hanoi Johns purple hearts. Two of them were minor scratches that did'nt even warrant medical attention, the other was a little bit of shrapnel that kept him on light duty for two days. He put himself in for those awards and they went through. He only spent four months in Vietnam than came home and slammed his fellow soldiers. Some hero.

He spent his time flying the F-102 interceptor. An aircraft best known for its high rate of crashes. Bush also voluteered for F-100D. A job that would have given him a tour in Vietnam. Oh and there is some doubt about kerry's Purple hearts, At least 2 may have been self inflicted.

I always hate when people question Kerry's military record. Kerry was in Vietnam with the REST OF US. He has a nice piece of shrapnel in his left leg to prove it. Bush was in Crawford, Texas snorting cocaine with his daddy's money.
