Depends on your flight (if there is a layover or if it's direct) but usually coast to coast is 6 hours.

The times are right so far - about 6 non stop - also remember that you will gain 3 hours so plan accordingly if you want to get there at night or in the morning and how you prefer. Some people like to sleep the whole way at night and arrive in the morning ready to go in NYC but hotels don't really like you checking in early. Personally, I prefer to arrive at around noon, shower, have lunch, walk around, go sightseeing, relax and be on a normal schedule ready to go to meetings or whatever the next day. Also figure at least an hour from the airport if you're going to manhatten.

Its about a 5 to 6 hour flight, I think. You may have a layover in one of the major cities also.

there is lots once you assessment the two places that it somewhat is in basic terms too lots to enumerate. they are no longer something alike and that i've got lived in the two cities. I dont understand why people continually asking approximately those 2 cities mutually. i think of long island is lots greater like l. a. by using fact L.A. is crammed with NYers and is quickly, massive funds, and the land of possibility in each thing like NYC. San Francisco is slower, tinier, cleanser, like Boston in many methods, well mannered people, small transit device. i could think of you're able to examine Seattle with long island, no longer San Francisco by using fact it somewhat is a extensive city.

Plan on a full 9 hours which takes in to account lay overs. I live in Modesto & my son is in NY. I left the bay area around 7am and got to NY at 7p. (3 hr time difference = 9 hrs.)

On average, six hours which doesn't factor in flight delays and includes a short layover.
