I really don't think so; I think we are building up to the battle of Armageddon; there will be no peace until after that and then only in Heaven.

no, there are the christians/peace focased people and then there are the trouble makers of the world. the christian/those people think it most naturall to act in a peaceful tone, since this is the way they grew up and is second nature. the other people are accustomed to mechevious ways and are going to continue in the way as they have done for many a century. then there are the people that honestly don't give a rip but will help others and still help themselves in a non peaceful way.
Really what I am saying I geuss is that once people get out of there comfort zones and form what some think is a "peaceful" world, it will still be uncomfortable for some who grew accustomed to violence.

Hm...I suppose my answer does not make any sense...maybe this rephrase will help.

The man in Japan is used to reaping in money and living in a higher "class" than everyone. The other man in Japan eats the crumbs left by the rich man. When the western world has trasformed the world into a "peaceful place" both men from Japan will be unpeaceful. The rich man will think that the world is corrupt since he now eats with poor man. The poor man will have a boosted ego since he now eats with the once rich man and will want to gain more to feel greater than the now not so rich man, therefore creating greed and sending the world back to the way it was before and all hope will be lost.

Hope that made sense, sorta

No, the only way to achieve it is for there to only be 1 human being on the face of the planet.

no and no one should ever wish for it because wit world peace the worlds resources are open to everyone and the economy would be drained and the quote you are proof that evolution CAN go in reverse would take on a whole new meaning. its survival kill or be killed. there is no in between.

Nope, mankind is inherently evil. If we all decided to get along and be complete equals, there would be at least one person who would decide they wanted more than everyone else and screw everything up. We haven't changed since we came out of caves and started building cities and cultivating crops. We certainly aren't going to change now.

That said, It would be nice though wouldn't it?

It will never happen. Because it would take a single world wide religion or believe system to accomplish it. That is what it would take to unite all people.

Not in my lifetime..............I think the number one reason that different people and countries go to war most of the time is over religious beliefs. And you will never get everybody to believe in the same thing.
