I get lonely every day about 5 times a day, for about 1-2 minutes (often when I feel like procrastinating) and then I remember something I absolutely must do, forget about the lonliness and am on to the next thing ... lol
I actually love solitude and having time to do what I want to do, so I really don't get lonely too often. In fact, I really don't even like to talk on the phone. Unless it is a quick call or somebody I haven't talked to in a long time, it feels like a big time-waster. lol
Btw, one can be in a crowd of people and still feel lonely. Lonely is about a desire to connect with others ... and lonliness is not the same as boredom.

I'm lonely almost all the time. I've been single for 2 years now, and am a mom to a 4 yr old and 6 yr old, so it's very hard to find anyone to date....or even have a simple conversation with.

Yes I'm very lonely tonight. My husband works nights and I go to school days so I don't see much of him and I don't make friends well.

I am. I am not afraid to admit it. The time is 6:51pm, the kids are getting ready for bed. Tonight I feel like watching a good movie, curled up on the couch with my head on a mans chest. I am not loney for sexual contact, its the intimacy without sex. Ive been divorced for 2 years, but he was always around. A few months ago, he decided to not come around. Thats OK. I dont miss him, I just miss having a mans company. Thanks for asking this question!

I was fine until I drank 2 Michelob Ultras.
I haven't had beer in about 9 years.
Now I am feeling lonely.

Yes. Even if you have a partner or love interest, things can be lonely because things get so routine. Life drags you down, things get hectic and you forget or don't make time to connect.

I am always lonely, no one wants to do anything I want to do. I wish I had a cool friend that would hang out with me. And I wish I could be your friend. But I don't know you.
