Let bygones-be-bygones, they were just doing their job and maybe your paper wasn't quite as good as you thought, or maybe it was - but it's in the past now.

I now realize that I deserved every grade my teachers gave me. No matter how i felt in the past. I deserved those C's and D's and the few A's. I just have a hard time calling them by their first name after all these years. Mr. Stenzlan and Mrs. Carter, thank you.

at least say hello especially if they are looking right at you. if they were anything like my teachers and principals they knew me by name and on site. let all the bad stuff go. they cant do anything to you now.
