depends on where you are. by the way why is people so worried about spelling when they know what you are talking about?

I hope you don't become one until you learn how to spell it. It's AIDE. It depends on your school department, but unfortunately they are the lowest paid even though they work most directly with the children.

To the person below me, about the spelling: because we had to guess what she meant. A teacher's aid is something like a book or a pencil. An aide is a person who aids. Why should we have had to guess? And I would not want someone working with my kid who doesn't even know basic spelling.

It depends on where you live. Usually about $8-12 an hour.
