I am in the same scenario as you are. Just keep both friends. If your best friend is really your best friend, she will just have to learn to accept it. It may feel awkward at first, but you'll get use to it. =)

You need to be strong and do what YOU want to do. A true friend is someone who supports you and helps you out in any situation. A true friend doesn't come with stipulations. If your friend doesn't like your other friend that's fine he/she doesn't have to hang out with your friend but they have no right to tell you who you can or can't be friends with. A true friend is very hard to find. Don't end a friendship unless YOU decide you no longer want to be friends with that person. Good luck.

Let your friend know that you want to stay friends with both of them and unless the second friend has done something really bad to the friend that asked you not to be friends with her anymore there shouldn't be a problem with that.

Be friends with the other one and not the jealous, controlling one. You'll be happier in life if you align yourself with people that are accepting and genuinely nice, and not self-centered and damaged.

talk it out with her/him but remember you are your own person and who knows one day you two may not even be friends and could have missed out at a great friendship with that other person

If your "friend" can't accept that you have other friends then that person really isn't your friend.
