I think this means more than "a lot of experience".
When I think of myself, I feel that I bring a lot to the table. I would say that this is my skill set. The easiest way to think of this would to think of a big tool box. You have a ruler in their, in case they need you to measure something, you have a hammer to knock things out, etc. Of course in people, our skills generally deal with things like communication (talking to people, selling people on ideas or products and getting co-workers to understand what you mean), coming up with solutions and thinking "outside the box". Most people go to work and do what they are told or what their job says they should do. They were hired to do that job and that job only. You, in the eyes of your boss, feels that you can grow with your skills and end up doing great things, which is an excellent comment to get!!!
Good luck in your future endeavors!

It means to bring a good work ethic, be punctual, and be honest. He also may mean for you to be creative and communicate well and work well with others. It means he expects a lot of of you--you proved to him you have the technical skills to do the job and he expects more from you than just "doing the job." He expects you to excel.

It means you have alot to offer the company. Ideas, work ethic, degrees. It could be alot of things. It's a compliment and implies he's (or she's) happy with your work and finds you to be an asset to the company. Be proud of yourself.
