I am trying to fix up a mini bike for my nephew and need to look up some parts fo a Yamaha 50 cc mini bike engine #3PT-205138 and frame #JYA3PTW07VA205734. I''m not sure what year model it is. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

It's a 1997 PW50J1.

Go to; http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/parts/home.aspx and use the drop downs to get to your specific model.

There ya go.

Good luck.

First contact Yamaha with the frame # to find out the exact year and model # of the bike.

attempt an ebay search for for 'XV550' or 'XV750' (as many aspects on the 750 are a similar because the 550). if you're keen to purchase from the united kingdom then your bike is often a 'Virago' over right here. sturdy success!
