Let's put it this way, you wouldn't call me a dodgy bird and expect me to stick around and wait for the fall!

Bird = Girl. Widely accepted.
Dodgy=, well a little more complicated. My son had a "dodgy" mechanic fix his car before he sold it; he meant a mechanic who would take short cuts and perhaps not do a proper job, but get it done cheaply so it looked OK. A dodgy business is something not quite on the up and up, or on the level; perhaps even shady.
Dodgy Bird - a high maintenance female, perhaps one with a colourful history, perhaps one with friends in low places.

A questionable female. A female who "looks like trouble", a female who is trouble,
They use dodgy like that.
The repairman looked dodgy=>shifty, like he was up to no good.
"Bird" as far as I know is just a slang for girl. Like "sheila" in certain parts of Australia. They used it in Austin Powers and it didn't seem to have any connotation on the female, but yes, dodgy has the negative connotation when it's put with bird.

Bird just means girl.

A dodgy bird would be a girl you are not sure about. You might think there is something wrong with her, maybe she is a bit of a slut.

By creationist, I am referring to anyone who claims the Earth is only 6,000 years old or who claims to have evidence that will disprove the Theory of Evolution and then goes on to prove that they have no evidence what the ToE actually states (references the Big Bang Theory or says "I didn't come from no monkey"). In other words, a person who considers 6th grade as "continuing education".

Bird = female (used widely but not always appreciated by us women!)

Dodgy = untrustworthy, troublesome, difficult or "to be avoided"

So a Dodgy Bird would be a woman to be avoided... could be for a variety of reasons.

Bird = Girl
Dodgy = dishonest or questionable

Basically, it's a girl you should not get involved with or be wary/careful, if you do...
