lol great question! my friend is a venture capitalist and does some investment banking on the side. He hands that out on a daily basis... 300 mil is nothing these days. He wants you to first send him some seed money to let him know you are serious. I'll get you the Nigerian address by email. peace

You might need to work with multiple banks. Your best bet is to look for a business bank or a bank with a business division and speak with a loan officer who can advise you on what the financial institution will need from you (like a business plan for example). You might also check with the small business division of a bank or the SBA (Small Business Administration). Check out http://www.sba.gov/services/financialassistance/index.html for some information. There are also books that you can read about starting up a business.

Make sure you do a little research about the start up costs, building new vs. renovating a pre-built structure, employees, supplies, equipment, etc. You will need to have some kind of plan before you speak with a bank about a loan unless you just want an informational interview to get info to plan for your loan request. Otherwise, you will be wasting everyone's time.

I doubt if anyone would lend you that amount of money for a recreation center, maybe for a sports complex and it would have to be huge.

Bank of America seems to act like they'll do anything. They offer ridiculous credit card balances to me all the time.
