Start the oven and see if there is a glow from underneath if this is a hot surface ignition unit. If there is no glow then you need a new ignitor. This is very common in people that use their ovens alot. Part number for Frigidaire is 5303935066 Maytag 12400035. If we can be of further assistance please email us at

Is it a pilot or pilotless oven? Most likely the ignitor if pilotless or the thermocouple if it has a pilot light.

If newer electronic, it has a bad ignitor. If older, standing piolt type, it has a bad pilot safety.
