I can't give you a passage/verse number. Why are you asking?? If the Bible told you that all men must wear leather jackets and all women must wear clown wigs, would you just do it because it was printed in scripture? I do have friends who are Baptists who think the Bible says God wants all women to wear skirts, and they do in their family. My response: does it really MATTER what you wear? There are plenty of very active members in my church who wear jeans (myself included), and in the same congregation are some who dress up. My sister, a self-proclaimed born-again-Christian, has this to say about the subject: "Jesus said, come as you are".
I think you need to spend more time on what you do, and not get so nitty-gritty with the details. After all, do you think God really CARES what you are wearing? I think actions are more important!!

God loves you, and He doesn't care about clothes, He cares about souls! The bible actually says that you should take no thought for clothing, what you should wear, what you should eat, and what you should drink (this is not a direct quote, but i have listed the passage from the Bible, so you can read it yourself). (Matthew 6:25-34). I believe that God would rather have a church full of poorly dressed people who are truly seeking Him than have people shy away from Him because they are worried about the way they dress!
Jesus loves you!!

I use a bible search web page. NO WHERE did I find anything that said you had to "dress a certain way."
In the days of the bible, people wore those awful hard and hot robes.
Now days you have to go to church wearing a solid white dress and a $600 suit. Who is kidding who?

I don't think it says to cover your whole body, but it does say to dress modestly.

It doesn't say you have to cover your whole body. In a nut shell it says Boys look like boys. Girls look like girls. Dress modestly.
About hair - In talking about head coverings and length of hair, Paul is saying that believers should look and behave in ways that are honorable in their own culture. In many cultures long hair on men is considered appropriate and masculine. In Corinth, it was thought to be a sign of male prostitution in the pagan temples. And women with short hair were labeled prostitutes. Paul was saying that in the Corinthian culture, Christian women should keep their hair long. If short hair on women was a sign of prostitution, then a Christian woman with short hair would find it difficult to be a believable witness for Jesus Christ. Paul wasn’t saying we should adopt all the practices of our culture but that we should avoid appearances and behavior that detract from our ultimate goal of being witnesses for Jesus Christ.

It says to dress modestly. Meaning you shouldn't dress to draw a lot of attention to yourself. Some churches translate it also to mean that women should not wear pants- only long skirts.
