This will depend on why you delivered prematurely the first time. If it's a physical problem, then it's likely to happen again. If it was something like pre-eclampsia, then it's not as likely.

Since you've had one premature birth, I highly recommend you see a perinatologist the second time around. You will be considered high risk.

My first was preterm at 33 weeks also. Second came at 39 weeks. I believe I read somewhere, your chance goes up 30% of having another preemie, if you already had one, compared to someone who hasnt or hasnt gave birth.

It was strange the lack of attention we got with the 39 week birth in the hospital - compared to the preemie. Plus its weird for mom, cause at like 30 weeks, you start wondering if you'll go any day - than that can last for over 2 months and you find all these new discomforts you never got to with the preemie.
