I don't see the good in this situation...

My daughter is 15 and living in another state with her grandmother. She is not doing well in school and has no one to support her.

My ex-husband started a new job in another state and is stressed out because of the child, etc. He keeps leaving me messages about how she is in pain and not doing well.

I am living in another state and am lonely and having a hard time finding a permanent job. I am working at a contract position. I feel worried and sad most of the time.

If everything happens for a reason and for the good, I can not see any good in this situation.

Actually I have experienced something close to this....What good comes out of this is you will become aware of what is important to you in life. Is there a reason you cannot live in the same state as your daughter? There are contract jobs all over the country. You don't have a perm job...so what's holding you back? SOMETHING is holding you back. Assess the situation and see if that something is worth staying where you are. Your ex is leaving you messages and piling on the guilt....this is adding to the sadness and worry. it's hard to make decisions under duress. There is good in this situation...it may not appear now...but you will later see. Have faith and have faith in you decisions. Don't be defeated. Stand tall...hold your head high. You cannot see the good if your looking down. Good luck Dear.

The situation actually motivates you to look in simple things that you can appreciate. You can see all the bad things but not the fact that you are alive and that you are healthy. Nor the fact that the situation can motivate you to do better and alleviate your daughter's pain.

I know its not easy but there's nothing impssible if you are agressive in pursuing your goals.

Is there a way you can all be in the same state? Like where you ex got a job?

how the hell do you all end up in a different state, sounds to me like a lack of planning; i'd say you should all plan to come together and have a friggin moment, something heartwarming, share some feelings; maybe try to sacrafice a state or two

as bad as the situation is, the good part is there is communication, and everyone one is working for a command goal.
