The girls that you talk with probably are always conscious that they are beautiful. So they probably expect good looking guys to talk to them. They will probably never know or guess even if you talk to them in order to be friendly. These girls expects to talk with guys who are flirting for real and trust me......they will never realize this....as their minds are corrupted in that way. So whoever they think are not of their type, they pass on comments as such.
Now first of all, I don't see any reason why you should go and start talking to great looking girls? Did you ever tried talking to normal/ not so good looking girls? If your answer is 'NO' then I believe she did comment you rightfully. Moreover you didn't explain how often do you get such comments. Anyway, take my advice, if you really want to be friends with girls, look for a decent girl who has a nice personality and if possible don't just go and look for great looking girls. And if you are lucky you will probably make good friendship that you will be proud of. Wish you all the best.
