I'm not able to find anything about the start key in the owners manual, but only the keyless entry pad. I am looking online for a service manual....So far no luck. I do have one key, thats a good start I hear. I would hate to get locked out. I bought the car without a spare key. It was a used car, but I'm very happy with it. Except not the costs for keys and the keyless entry. Thanks for any leads.

Please take your car to the nearest chevy dealer and tell them you need second key learned. This only takes a very short time and there should be no cost to you.Sence you have a new key.

You need to take your car to a local Chevrolet dealership, tell them you want a spare key and give them the key you have. You can not make a key or have a key made for them because they have a recognition chip in them, made specifically for your car so it's harder to steal. The key will cost you anywhere from 35-75 dollars a key.
