like does it break it up or something? I know your body is mostly made up of water. I'm not trying to sound like an idiot, lol....i'm just curious like wow.....exactly what does water do? how does it actually keep us surviving?

The body doesn't break up water into hydrogen and oxygen. It stays as water. It is used mostly as a solvent and a transport mechanism (blood, urine). That's the main use. Some digestion processes might add water molecules to some carbohydrates or other organic materials. It's also used for evaporative cooling.

Water flushes the system of harmful toxins in our food and waste products. We loose moisture through sweating, and that moisture is needed for our blood to take needed nutrients to every cell. Too much water is not good. Not enough, and the body will dehydrate. We get thirsty after our bodies already NEED a drink of water. Soda and milk and other juices are not the same thing as water. WATER--it does a body good!!!
