Super size is a disgusting way to eat for it is unhealthy and will eventually take its toll on those who have a continued diet of overeating out of pure gluttony. It taxes your internal organs because it cannot filter out the fat fast enough and whatever does not get filter out by perspiration, excretion of waste or urine will turn to fat or added weight . If you eat a normal diet of this type of food, do not do it often and eat it in moderation. You will thank yourself in the long run.

I thought most of it was Spurlock trying to injure himself. I side with him on his attempt to belittle the industry, but I wish he had done it more honestly, because it would have proven more.
Better to have eaten what he liked, when he liked, but still at McDonald's for an entire month; also, to try and continue his normal life, work out and do his normal activities as before, THEN see what changes there might have been. Probably not as radical or fantastic, nor graphic enough, for a movie, but more realistic.
I mean, most of us don't even eat three square meals of ANYTHING each day for a month. I, for one, miss a lot of meals, then I make up for it in snacks, or whenever, sometimes missing meals just because I feel full.

Then, too, Spurlock did no exercising, deliberately limiting himself to walking only 5,000 steps a day. (That wasn't McDonald's fault was it?)
Then too, not all of us choose to "Supersize".
I, for one, am suspicious of gimmicks, because it just seems a way for them to gouge more money out of people.
Whenever I (went ) , to McDonald's, I usually avoided the fries and the drinks, ( gimmicks), because they always cost almost as much as the burgers. I economized more for my pocket than my waistline.
And always, I'd endure listening to: "do you want fries, (or a drink) with that?", because I usually didn't . Spurlock went the whole route and none of us really do that unless we're out of our minds, or to prove something.

Well, one word. BLECH! I almost puked! That movie was so sick. I don't even want to see a McNugget again! I think McDonalds is a treat every other month, but it is definetly NOT healthy. And about the McNuggets, the chicken from the nuggets comes from chickens that can't lay eggs. EEEWWW! :(

I'm definitely not going to supersize my meals anytime soon. Super size is very unhealthy anyway and puts you on the path to a heart attack or stroke. Eating fast food in moderation is good, but eating it everyday is bad for your health and your heart.

I too saw that biography of the man who ate nothing but McDonald's for 30 days and it honestly made me sick....to do that to your body is a choice that could lead to liver and heart problems as well as possible death.

A good film. I have to admit, I thought the guy really embelished parts. It's hard to guarantee objectivity if they person doing the study is the same guy who wants to sell the movie to the masses.
I enjoyed it.

I loved the fact that he picked on McD's in particular bc I'm a manager at one in Alabama. I also like the fact that he mentioned that it wouldn't matter what fastfood joint you ate at, if you eat there on a regular basis you're going to be fat. Fast food is fast food no matter what the wrapper says.
