Or is he just embarrassing & helping them make fools of themselves for ratings. I rarely watch it but on his show today this woman was coming back for the 17th time trying to find out who fathered her baby! Is this just exploitation of poor & uneducate people (& some idiots) or is he really doing them a service??

Look, if somebody can not recall sleeping with a different man each day of the month during their "fertile myrtle" time of the month, and they are THAT desperate to be on television and have no consideration for the child who's name and image are on recorded television shows, they obviously have no second thoughts about exploiting themselves of their fatherless children. So, let them. If it's worth a plane ride, a hotel for a couple of nights and a few bucks, what can you do. People love to watch other people ruin their lives. If there were no audience, there wouldn't be any shows.

I think more harm then good as the women seem more upset about not finding the fathers then they were the first time. Plus i agree with those people who saw that the children suffer by looking back on the show when they are older and being embarrassed that their moms didn't know who their dads were. Plus no one wants their dirty laundry keep having to be aired in the public. Just round up all the guys you slept with and go through the courts to get a paternity test. Can't people be faithful to one person anymore that way they will know who their babies daddies are and they wouldn't have to go through all this drama.

4 GET the adults!!! Just picture 10 or 11 years later when the kid turns on the t.v. and catches a rerun. How would you feel seeing your mom testing 13 potential "baby daddies"? HELLO it HAS to be like in a two week time frame,( how many guys did she sleep with in 14 days???) and probably by then she would have accused other guys! Now all the kids family and friends know that their mom is NASTY. & She obviously doesn't care about the kid because if she did she would take care of that crap at home. I think that CPS should be right outside the studio door ready to take those poor babies to deserving parents.

He's exploiting these women and children, or rather allowing them to exploit themselves. They may be dumb enough to believe he's doing a service for them, or greedy enough to bite at whatever is offered them to come on the show. It just concerns me that other people view these people as the American people as a whole... much like Springer's done... I find that embarrassing and harmful. America is not full of half wits!

i know, I saw that episode today. The problem is some women are like the one we saw on TV. It is a shame and we wonder why some men act the way they do when they deny a child. But these women need to know who the baby father is. At least they can find out the family medical history if necessary.

I saw that show today too. It's sad to think that she has even thought of 2 more men that she needs to gets tested because she slept with them about the time she conceived. I would be embarrassed if I had been with that many men and I could not find my baby's daddy.

Maury is doing any harm but if he wants to be helpful he should have this woman call him whenever she is having sex and he could sit by the bed and pencil down the guy's names after each one leaves or at least have him set up a sign in sheet for her. Obviously her memory doesn't last as long as her sex drive does.

I used to watch Maury Povich,but find its the same old thing now.Never watch it anymore.How many men have these women been with not to know who their kids dad is?Sure makes it look like they sleep with anyone.

I think it is terrible. That made me stop watching the show. It seems like that is all he does. It gets so boring. And I can't imagine how these women keep coming back!!!! Apparently they have no shame. I don't see how they can show their faces after being on there so many times.
