I disagree because it's gross and kinda a violation of privacy, but it's legal in most states, so obviously some people agree to it.

Disagree. The institution is already flawed, let's not give it any more power than it already has. If safety is the #1 priority, why do people supposedly go there to learn? If education is the #1 priority, why is it a problem that the best students are on drugs?

Agree, because the drug abuse rate in this country needs to go DOWN! I don't care how. Not that I'm against legalizing drugs. Certainly the current drug policy ain't working. If they're gonna keep drugs illegal, they need to do something and bring the drugs abuse rates down. If they ain't, then they need to legalize drugs and see what happens. Cause this is just ridiculous.

disagree
unless the kid was using at school and it was to prove they were high
its violation of privacy and if the kids arent using at school, its none of the schools business, this is when its up to teh parents to deal with the issue at hand

if they wanna see if kids have them at school, they should just bring dogs and sniff out lockers and school bags, and kids, this is what my school does to cut back the drugs at school.......but thats a different issue

I agree if the school has a problem, or if they signed up to be on a sports team, or people are worried. Doing it truly randomly is pointless.

agree; if the athletes that do drugs don't know they're coming, then it's easier to catch them.
