Why do Americans think their way of life is threatened?

Many Americans will tell you this, "we need to protect the American way of live". Was Iraq or any country on Earth today that we know of was planing to invade America and change its way of life?. It is always the other way, where America invades them and CHANGE THEIR WAY OF LIFE.

When was the last time you heard a foreign troops where miles away to capture Washington DC. NEVER, so hush!

I know, Bush's a dumbasss. But I guess living in the most powerful country in the world isn't always that easy.

This is just my personal opinion. I think its based out of being paranoid. Things have changed a lot over the last 2 decades. Women and minorities are getting high in the career ladder. Illegal aliens seem to keep "stealing" jobs from Americans and creating lower wages in their industries. Some of Americas allies are now enemies. The world in general does not respect America because they see it as a bully who does not listen. I think all theses things factor in.

You're right! The American way of life is swallowing up the rest of the world crushing cultures in its wake. Soon Iraq will be the 51st state.

Ask the Dutch who is taking over their country... look all over the EU... who is taking over there... Islam... in the US it is mexico And islam... and the Traitor Bush wants to let 25,000 more muslims in from Iraq...they do not have to " invade" the western counties are letting them in without them having to fire a shot... there are 20,000,000+ illegal foreign criminals in The US now and the Traitor Bush wants to make them citizens.
