"Tubular" was an old word when the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were saying it before you were born--hell, it was even an old slang word (surfer jargon, as has been said). Of course it's meant "shaped like a tube" since the day they came up with tubes. I'm going to go with the crowd here, though, and say that "tubular" is kind of rad.

Well. I think you know this is not a new word, but I have to admit it is better than awesome in any form. This might be the most over used word in the English language right now.

You didn't make it up, it's an old surfer word from back in the 80s...and I think it's fun to say when we're all just being silly!
