Fuel Filter on my car?

Question

My dad was telling me that my 1995 chevy cavalier 2.2l 4 cyl engine had 2 fuel filters... one in the fuel line on the back of the car (I can see it, it looks like a round cylendar) and one INSIDE the fuel tank with fuel pump.

I have 2 questions: #1, is the fuel pump INSIDE the tank? and #2: is there any other fuel filter than the one in the gas line?

The fuel pump has a debris screen to keep large particles from blocking the pump it's self, and almost never needs to be serviced.

As far as the cylindrical one, that does require changing every so often.

And no, there are no more filters.

Yes, the fuel pump is in the fuel tank, Mounted to the intake side of the pump is a"filter" more commonly called a strainer. It is not normally changed except when a new fuel pump is installed.

Yes the fuel pump is inside. The only way to get to it is put the gas in a tank. then u can get to it. but theres ussually only one.
