I'm going to have to say LA Dodgers & SF Giants. I think this rivalry goes back to when they played on the East Coast. I think this a reason why Nor Cal and So Cal dont like each other. We're born hate the Giants in LA. This season they swept each other on the road. The rivalry continues to see who will win the NL WEST.

I'm a Cardinals fan...our biggest rival is the Cubs, of course. It is a great rivalry and is more about the fans now, really. The Cardinals are the only team that could fill up half of Wrigley Field with fans in red and the Cubs are the only team to do it with fans in blue at St. Louis. It's a rivalry where fans will actually argue over which fanbase is better. And to be fair, both sides have good arguments: St. Louis is an amazing baseball town and the city lives and dies with the Cardinals...everything else comes second there. Chicago has some very loyal fans that continue to show up despite championship-less years. Both teams always pack their home stadiums. It is a great rivarly and these two teams are great for baseball.

Wow tough question, but since you're an MLB fan I'll answer in your area of expertise. Being a true blue Cubs fan, I'd have to say that the biggest rivalry is the Cardinals. They've always got a good team, competing well in the division and winning several world series in my lifetime. Couple that with arguably the best hitter in all of baseball (Albert Pujols) and a few pitchers that you just gotta love to hate, you get some highly competitive games with strong emotions on both sides. A close second to that rivalry is that between the Cubs and Black Sox. I say "Black Sox" because they are the only team I know of to lose the world series on purpose. How such a Black mark can ever be erased from an organization, I don't know... but the clueless Black Sox fans seem to think that if it happened a long time ago, then it's as good as gone. Such selective memories seem indiginious to the type of fans that the Black Sox attract. Thankfully after last season's last place Cubs record, the Sox drew off most of our "fair weather" type fans and hopefully... they can keep em because we don't want em back!

The Yankees #2 opposition is probable the Mets. in case you ever yet 3 Yankees and 3 Mets fan in a room you will possibly have substantial arguing approximately who's the extra valuable third baseman or who's extra valuable between CC and Johan. in case you want a #2 American League rival i'm gonna could desire to assert the two Angels becuase they have our selection or the Rays with the aid of fact they seem to be a team of up and coming solid ball gamers.

Phillies, vs Mets. NY and Phila are close and there is good train and public trans between the two.,
You'll see many Mets fans in Phia, and Phila fans in NY.

When the Phils and Pirates were in th same div, that was THE rivalry, but no longer.

White Sox - easy one. It is Minnesota. Those who don't really know baseball say it is the Cubs, but that is just 6 stupid games a year. The real fans know it is Minnesota. You might think it would be Detroit - but since they only had one winning season last year. Before that - 14 years of below .500 baseball.
