Someone gave me a NON-gasoline, manual push mower. Can it be sharpened? It seems the angle of the sharpened edge is flat or 90 deg. to the blade. Is this the correct bevel?

Take it to a lawn mower shop or take it to a place that sharpens saw blades. Sometimes they will do it, but be ready to pay at least $35.00 half of what it cost. Or if it's not that bad then you can buy a sharpening kit from http://amazon.com punch up lawnmower sharpening kit, that will work if it's not bad. But you should get a professional sharpening at least every other year.

Yes you can have it sharpened at one of those "saw sharpening" places. Those mowers are a lot of work to use but they do a great job.

lol I hated those. Yeah. You have to ask someone who sharpens blades for like chainsaws and hedge trimmers
