i actually regret it now but i bought the car at a ford dealership. there was a mechanic freind with me and the car was in pefect condition. so we thought! the car is at a chevy dealer now. i have already been through gm headquarters. they seemed concerned for the 1st two weeks and then said there was nothing they could do for me. the only thing i can think of to do now is either start throwing parts that might be the problem into it or get rid of it. i have only made 5 payments and hate the thought of taking a loss for it. any suggestions?

If that is the case, I would take it to another dealership..Explain the situation, and they will be sure to help you....I would still contact the 1 800 customer service number, they will still help you...

The General Motors dealership can push the GoodWill if they choose too..You may just be dealing with a crappy dealership..We do it everyday because it makes happy customers that will buy from us the next time...

I would not pay them for there diagnoses time..I would give them the option to fix it for the cost they quoted, on the condition if definitely fixes it...If they cannot commit to that, I would take it somewhere else...There is No way in hell that a certified GM Technician cannot determine what is wrong with that vehicle with all the technical help and tools at there disposal..

If you were in the Southern Oklahoma area..I would tell you to bring it to my dealership..But, again...If they dont want to settle for nothing, I would give the an hour diagnoses time and move on...

I really hate hearing these stories..It is dealerships like them that give american products a bad name...It is all in the service and respect...

good luck

I've just read some of your other questions.
Sounds like a pain in the @$$.

Has ANYONE suggested replacing the EGR valve?(exhaust gas recirculator)

Sounds to me like it's not seating all the way. (carbon buildup)

i imagine you acquire a short on your printed circuit board,if so then in simple terms take it out and flow to a junk backyard and put in a clean a million.they don't look to be complicated to regulate, they basically have screws in it.

Take it to a different dealer and trade it in.
