I don't recall if the tC has a four or five star crash rating but it was designed to be very safe in a rollover. If your concerned about being ejected out the roof, there a two things that won't let that happen, seat belt and Centripetal force that states you will be held in the center of a circle (The passenger compartment) when spinning in a circle. Scions were built with people, safety, gas milage and some great and not so great looks in mind. Safety should not be one of your top concerns with the tC's.

I'm not sure what you mean by "safe with glass top?" Many modern cars have glass sun-roof, and this one is nothing different.

Do you have a particular concern?

Otherwise, I would suggest checking the national insurance safety institute or department of motor vehicle safety web site for crash test information.
