Call the library and explain the situation. Tell them how much you can pay and when (after you find out). If they see you mean well and want to pay them back, they'll be very understanding and willing to work with you. It's a very mature, adult thing to do, and good for you for taking the responsbility.

Go to the library and tell them you have a job and you're trying to save up the money you owe. Ask them if you can set up a payment plan so you can pay a little bit at a time instead of all at once. Don't put it off, the sooner you go talk to them, the more mature you'll seem and the more flexible they'll be when it comes to payment.

well since your only 15 there isn't really much they can do personally to you (execpt not allow you to check out books anymore. Talk to them about a payment plan, but again since your a minor that won't really hold up in court. Depending on where you live it may come out of you/your parents tax return next year. Talk to your parents maybe have them pay it off and you pay your parents back in installments.

how many books were involved. this fine is unreasonable. should not be more than the books value for sure. talk to the manager about reducing the fine or making payments on the reduced fine. i would not pay it and just give up my library privlages personally.

It seems such as you're fairly attempting to diminish your costs. right for you! i be attentive to it sucks, yet you're already doing nicely and coping with the placement amicably. yet get imaginitive and start up incomes extra money. -sell your stuff on eBay. Books, CD's, outfits, or regardless of you receive which you do no longer want. -Take a 2nd pastime on weekends for some months basically to earn some better money. Or... evaluate getting yet another pastime altogether which pays adequate so as which you would be able to stay conveniently. -save around for motor vehicle coverage. I wager you will hit upon a greater much less high priced decision in case you seem no longer elementary adequate. regardless of if it is in straightforward terms a $25 difference, it is money you are able to positioned in the direction of your debt. -decrease down on food costs. do no longer consume out, and attempt to purchase products you are able to combine to make fairly affordable food. think of rice, pasta and a few type of sauce or beans. Meat is ridiculously high priced, so is fruit, vegetables etc. do no longer evaluate bankrupcy - there's a clean regulation which states which you would be held to blame for the quantity regardless. Plus, it is fairly undesirable to finally end up submitting for bankrupcy for basically $1000. ultimately, you may desire to call the sequence organization and artwork out a deal, or your debt will proceed to advance. tell them which you're in an extremely complicated concern on the 2nd, yet which you extremely want to verify it asap. advise paying $50 a month or regardless of you are able to. in case you do no longer decrease a take care of them, you're fairly gazing financial hell.

explain them your situation and ask if they can work with you for a pay schedule. or, ask if you can just buy the books! thats a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge fee. ask your parents for help if you can, it seems unreasonable of them to charge a kid nearly 100 bucks for overdue books.

"noptify" them? you might have done well to READ those books...

just call the library and work out a payment plan. or tell your parents, ask them to pay it off, then pay them back.

Go in and talk to the librarian. My mom is a librarian and as long as you are nice, respectful and apologetic she will help you out. Explain your financial situation and that you want to pay---maybe they will help you out.
