The Monistat is not going to cause infertility, but if you have an infection, it can. So if you have an infection that turns out to NOT be a yeast infection that can be treated with the Monistat. Talk to your Doctor, it may be something simple, it may be something serious.

I am not sure how on would use it the 'wrong way'??? It goes in one place in one way??

Monistat is a mild anti-fungal. It won't harm you if you accidentally took it for something else and didn't have a yeast infection.

No, it can't cause infertility either.
