I will survive by Gloria Gaynor.I always thought the song was about a woman surviving a break up.Gloria Gaynor has stated she wrote the song after she was in a bad accident,and people thought she would never recuperate from her back injury.

My next older sister one time admitted that she thought the song "Jingle Bells" was singing about a "one horse soaping sleigh." She couldn't figure out what a soaping sleigh was. We were dying laughing, she was a grown up when she asked this!

I thought he was saying: "How's about a date?"

I was 16, driving with my bf, singing it, and he said, "what did you just say?" and I said matter-of-factly, "How's about a date.." and he started to laugh and said, "no. It's Eyes without a face. That's the name of the song...." I felt like an idiot. LOL

Not me, but when my daughter was very young, she misinterpreted the Lords Prayer as;
Hum bugger, to off in heaven,follow me by may...The rest she got right. I recorded it and gave it to her when she got older. We've had many laughs listening to it.
