Time out in our house is a plain wall. A couple of days ago my 3 year old son came to and said he was going to make a poster for time out. I said okay and he went to work with squiggles and lines. When he was done he asked for some tape and hung it on the time out wall. About an hour later he did something that got him sent to time out. As he got to the wall he said, "Uh Mom, the sign says its closed."

Goodness there is so many....
When my oldest was about 3 I caught him coloring all over the walls with crayons. I explained to him that you can not color on walls. The next day as I was coming up from the basement (laundry) there he was sitting on the kitchen floor. He was coloring all over the floor. I asked him what on earth he was doing, I just explained to him about coloring. He replied, "It's not the walls mommy, it's the floor."
My youngest is 18 months old. Just the other morning this is what he did. Luke watches his father get ready for work in the morning with great interest. He is at that copycat age. Well, after my husband showers and gets dressed, he rewets his hair in the sink each morning and puts hair stuff in. Luke always watches him do this. I was talking to my husband in the bathroom and Luke charged over to the toilet and started scooping toilet water onto his head... he was wetting his hair down just like daddy does!
