I like the medula, but it is just overly expensive. I need something affordable.

I would say a good pump is worth the money and Medela is the best. I've been pregnant 3 times and tried them all.

You should have no problem getting a nice Medela pump on Ebay for under $150 and the seller usually includes lots of nice extras like bottles, liners, etc.

Just ask the seller all the questions you have and look at their feedback. Make sure they have a return policy in case something happens to the pump in shipping. And inspect everything when it arrives and test it out BEFORE you leave feedback.

Oh, and you might want to use Paypal as payment b/c they offer the buyer a guarantee if the item is "not as described." You don't get that protection with a money order.

I got a great Medela pump in the black backpack last year. It came with lots of extras and was only $109.00.

Best of luck

When I was pregnant with my oldest son I bought an Avent breast pump on Ebay. It was a great deal - came with bottles, nipples, and other great stuff. I would recommend that you clean it thoroughly if you do buy one from Ebay, just in case.
And Wal-Mart, K-Mart, or Target would be your best bet to get a nice, inexpensive breast pump. I've used the Avent manual pump, which was awesome & cheap online - & some other non-name brands that worked just as well.
You could also rent breast pumps from the hospital or some doctors offices. I also did that for a little while, it was about $20 a week but it may vary depending on where you go.
I would suggest buying the pump online if you could, just because it's usually cheaper & sometimes you can get GREAT deals.
Good Luck!

there are particularly some human beings on right here giving particularly some unfavorable suggestion approximately something they be attentive to no longer something approximately. the difficulty with employing a used pump is that there is not any thank you to benefit regardless of if or no longer the motor has been contaminated in the process the "open" equipment, and there is not any thank you to bathe it. So there's a gentle possibility that yet somebody else's milk could are transforming into to be into the motor. it fairly is not actual of wellness facility grade pumps that are rented or used interior the wellness facility. you need to purchase new factors or clean old factors, yet you are able to't verify the motor or clean it. yet another difficulty is you don't be attentive to what condition the pump is in. you are going to be recommended that's in "wonderful" condition, and it could artwork for you for a week, or perhaps a month. then you definately have not have been given any recourse, and no pump. that's unquestionably "purchaser pay attention" whilst coping with used pumps.
