u shift it like from 1-2-3-4....instead of being stuck in D?

so i shouldnt rev past 2k? lol...cuz i hate da way it shifts from first to second and second to third in my civic...and since i dun got da money 2 make it manual...id liek 2 shift it myself lol...so it will or it wun hurt my transmission..nd idc about da gas part

I wouldn't advise it. It will shorten the life of the tranny. You can however have a shift kit installed and maybe even a stall speed. You should be able to purchase those at your local speed shop. Safe driving!

No it will be fine, at least if the car is in good shape. If it is brand new the car will not abuse itself and will not allow you to ruin the trans, or over rev the engine. Just make sure you are not going 50 and throw it into 1st, this would be a bad idea.

your should use the gearbox like a manual sometimes, when driving downhill drop into third and that will give you engine braking therefore not needing to use brakes

No just don't rev over 2000 rpm before shifting.

No, you won't hurt it at all. And you probalby won't waste enough gas to notice the difference.

It wont if you know what your doing, but I have seen retards drive in 2nd gear going 5000 rpms..... dumb people.... just put it in drive and go... :)

yeah it will on auto cars 1,2,3,4 is not the same as manuel each gear does different things. i think it's something like gear one is for going on steep hills upward 2 for good acceleration. it's pretty stupid driving an automatic like a stick
