I was just wondering. and i wanna know soo much of how it

has helped you or if hasn't..do you believe in the side effects

that Zelnorm might have. Plizz tell me n help me understand

what i should do. I hate IBS :((. its been almost a year already. (btw, its bloating all the time 24/7, no matter if i eat or not, n constipation also)

im only 19..n my doctor prescribed that medicine, n i told him

"i dont want to take it." He is suprised. But im afraid. SHOULD I?? Tnx a lot for ur answers. jst tell me how itworks.

Zelnorm has been pulled from the market because of some serious side effects. You can find out more about it at the FDA website at: http://www.fda.gov

I have never taken it and couldn't (still can't if they do bring it back) because I have a history of having adhesions (scar tissue) due to one of my other medical problems.

I would also recommend having your thyroid checked to see if a hormone imbalance there could be causing your IBS. I just had my thyroid checked again for a number of reasons, one of them so I can see if it is impacting my IBS.
