Absolutely.
If NFL quarterbacks can bring in rediculous amounts of money, than surely somebody who can consistently nail a snapshot top corner on the best goaltenders in the world can get the same sums.
Why single out NHL players? Why not ask all of professional sports?

No, no sport proffesional should get more than a 200,000 salary. That is the only thing in this world where talent equals money...but if that was the case professional musicians would be all rich to. I know for a fact, musicians go through more he** than any Pro athlete.

I think it's fair for them to get whatever the owners are willing to pay them.
