I have an old kitchen table that is still in good shape but needs to be refinished. I thought using some of my old sports cards to seal on the top would be fun and neat looking but how would I go about doing that? I know several food places such as Tully's and Bathtub Billy's has done it.

If you don't want to ruin them, maybe just tape them onto the table itself, then lie one of those glass covers on top of the table... Not sure what the shape or size of the table is, but you can always get a glass top made for the size you need.

I think the ones in bars are done with poured resin or acrylic. You'd need to build yourself a mold around the tabletop and then pour it on. Here is one supplier http://www.epoxyproducts.com/bartop.html
