hi i have a bilt in video card a nivida and it is a on board chip set will it fight my new ati radeon x700 512mb ram

No, but it will be best to disable your on-board video card. Install the new video card, plug in your connector and turn on your computer. The screen resolution will be big, but don't worry. Install the software and let it change on its own. Then have fun gaming.

Most motherboards automatically disable onboard graphics once you plug in a video card into the PCIe graphics slot. It will also NOT share system RAM for the onboard graphics.

Yes you will need to disable your onboard video in your bios if you do not want it to conflict with your added video card.

It should turn off automatically. If not go into the BIOS and disable it.
