Actually, it's a really good indication you're pregnant if you miss a period, especially if your regular.

What confuses some women is they continue to have some bleeding throughout pregnant and they erroneously call it a "period" when it's not. You can't have a period if your are not ovulating.

Bleeding in pregnancy is more properly called spotting.

Even many women who bleed in pregnancy can still see a difference between that bleeding and a menstrual period, so that should be able to tip them off to the fact that something is different.

nope because some women find out that they're pregnant and have never missed a period!! The best indication would be a blood test or abstinence

you can still have some sort of bleeding or spotting while you are pregnant. while a missed period is often the first sign of pregnancy, some women do still bleed like they normally would. it just depends on the woman.

That's true. My sister-in-law found out she was pregnant & she had just had her period a week before she found out. I was also on my period for two whole cycles before I found out that I was pregnant with my oldest son.

It certainly isnt. My sister had been getting her period then it suddenly became abnormal n when she went to da dr she found out she was 3 months pregnant!!

Its not true.I am pregnant and still have light periods.I am 11 weeks pregnant now.So no.
