I recently received a message from a Y!A member. There message was weird and only had one word in the context. Since then, my computer has been working extremely slow and has frozen several times. Is it possible that this person sent me a virus? Is that possible on Y!A?

Stay away from any added links on questions and if you have a 360, don't accept invitations from anybody unless you know them. If you clicked on somebody's extra link, you could have gotten a virus. Other wise YA keeps it pretty clean.

I think it is very possible. It is not usually wise to click on links in answers unless you know the person. I think that has happened to me, as well, but I can't prove it. Good luck.

you can get a virus from anywhere on the internet..No matter wot site ur in..The internet is full of virus..If u have, just reboot ur computer a week bck from when u thinked u caught a virus..Its suld be removed
