Yes. That occurs to me from time to time because my home language is Spanish and the syntax of the languages is very different. If I'm not happy with the correct translation of the idea of my question I prefer to think on another one. I fear that people LOL because a misspelling question.

note : My Persian white cat is similar to your "Avatar". I love cats.

I think you should ask anyway, even if your afraid.

If not, you'll always wonder "WHAT IF?"...

[Something I won't be doing...;)lol]

Everyone has their own opinion, but that doesn't mean you have to take it on as your own.

If you really want an answer, ask...

My father always said, "It never hurts to ask."; and to this day I still go by that. There's alot of things I have now in my life; that I would not have, if I did not ask...

My father the cop had to question a lot of people in his years as a detective. I know from suppertime conversations that we were only privy to some of the things he had to see and hear.
I would not like to have to ask a child about what was done to them, a torture victim what brutalities they went through or even a reporter asking a soldier what they witnessed.

In my personal life, insecure as I am, I would not like to hear that my lover was cheating on me or that she didn't love me.

So, there are plenty of question with terrible answers.
Hopefully no one here will have to ask " do I have cancer, do I have aids, is my child alright"

Peace

Yes,at times....its a dog eat dog world out there, and I appreciate, thoughtful responses to my questions and or humorous is just fine.Define humor, define thoughtful, everyones perception is different. There are allot of questions I might ask,if it weren't for the controversy and possible flack I may get from a user who's definition of humor and or thoughtfulness,is in my perception .....neither thoughtful or funny but actually quite rude.

Yes, but I find that even when I don't ask them outright I wind up putting myself in a situation to lean toward the answers anyway. It's just my nature to need to know what I can know, especially when it has to do with me, my personal growth, my history, my true motives, etcetera.

Yes, but they are always metaphysical in nature and, therefore, unanswerable.
