yes. being realistic and not a yanks hater...they have their whole starting rotation on the DL right now..which obvious isn't a good thing. by time they get everyone back or buy someone-they could be a good 10 games back. hitting wins you many games but lets be real-pitching is whats gonna get you deep into games with a chance to win WITH YOUR HITTING.
another problem the yanks have are all the errors they love to commit. and i'm sorry..but melkay cabrrera ain't the answer.
they shouldn't panic just yet..i mean if by mid may they are 10 game out ..yes they need to make a move. because the sox are looking good with their rotation..and even with that weak fool wakefield and his chump 1 pitch game (his HITTABLE knuckball). right now the sox are getting ready to take control of that division..and honestly the devil rays are strong enough to content right now with the yanks in both hitting AND PITCHING..believe it or not.
its a long season yes..but when you talk about teams like the yankees...playing this bad this early ...there's no excuse for it. one can't always blame managment.

I think the Yankees are having a bad run right now but to panic now will be silly. Mr.Torre will do a fine job turning the team around and I really believe the players will be more accountable for the way they are playing. I think this would be a great time to bring back Bernie Williams to give the team a great boost and put him where he belongs back in Pinstripes. GO YANKEES!!!!

The Yankees don't need to panic.
Their fans, however, are willing to panic even when in first place with a ten-game lead, so they should be in total nervous breakdown by now.

well, it is a little odd how badly they're playing. Although they really don't have much of a pitching staff, they still are sucking this season. as for panicing? i don't think so yet. it could just be a slump, but if it isn't....then yes! panic!

They will be playing teams with pitching that is currently as bad as theirs in their new two series's against Texas and Seattle.
If the don't come out of this 4-2 there will be some serious concern.
