i worked in Seattle for about 6 months and found the cost of living to be much higher than Denver . both areas have a lot of natural beauty , but i would say there are fewer cars and people here than in Seattle . if you are in IT you will have fewer options for jobs compared to Seattle . downtown Denver is a vibrant city with lots of restaurants and plenty to do . and of course Seattle cannot beat the easy access to the best ski resorts in the country

My friend who moved here couldn't wait to get back. He ended up moving to Portland just to get out of here, so there's something about Denver which Seattle-people don't like. He hated the traffic, the weather, the people, everything. I think he's just a negative person, but he is much happier back in Portland.

My neighbor moved from seattle to denver, cost of living is not so high in denver. Not so much rain, and more jobs according to her. She was happy to move back.
