Tip on how to rebuilt a tranmisson on a 88 yamaha banchee?

--Drain the oil
--Remove the engine from the frame.
--Remove everything inside the L&R crankcase covers.
--Split the crankcase.
--If you've never repaired a transmission on a motorcycle or quad, I don't recommend you attempt it. It can be very confusing for a first timer.
--At least purchase a shop manual.
