If you have dropped electronic equipment (like cell (mobile) phone, personal digital assistance (PDA), pocket radio and so on) into the water do the following and maybe you will be able to save the device:
1. Remove the battery immediately as soon as possible.
2. Make sure the devise is off any type of power.
3. Dry up the device (open up all possible covers to increase an air circulation as much as possible) for a few days in the worm (not hot) and dry place like on the heater or on the direct sun light.
4. Do not power up the devices until its fully dried (al least a few days).
5. In case your device warranty is over and you can disassemble the device, open it up much as you can and clean its electronic boards with pure ethanol to prevent the electrolysis, corrosion and other harmful chemistry. Dry the device as it is said above.
6. When the device is fully dried after a few days you can try to switch it on. Good luck

Pickle juice is like dropping it into the saltwater of the ocean. You could try flushing it with warm water (drying it out was not a great idea) and then dry it after it seems that clear water is running off it.
I wouldn't have high hopes for it recovering.

Most people drop their phones in water but you had to go drop yours in pickle juice. I think you will need a new phone but the SIM card might be okay
