It really depends on your standards. Are you talking about the average 15 year old, and for what purpose are you running the 40? A 15 year old receiver or running back will need to be faster than a 15 year old lineman.
Weightlifting at 15 is fine....if done responisbly. Don't overwork yourself by pushing your limits and make sure your supervised by someone who knows what they're doing at all times. It can be really benifical if you do it right..

No u don't run a 4.48 40 @ 15 most college and nfl players don't run 4.4 anything so wake up. By you just asking if 4.48 is fast anyone with sense knows you made that up. If you did put up that kind of time all your high school coaches in track/football would be talking to you and you would probably be the fastest kid in your school regardless of grade which means you would know you were extremely fast or as we say in the track world rolling.

Listen, don't be discouraged by these gaudy numbers ppl put up. I doubt they can run those numbers, and they only put them up because they dont have to prove them. I read this up in an encyclopedia, and doing the math, at full speed you should do your 40 between 5.8-6.6 seconds if your an average runner. I ran a 5.6 at my fastest. Your body is definitely athletically not fully developed yet and wont be until your college years. Don't worry. If you work hard I'm sure you could easily break 5 seconds by the time you finish high school.

LOL....you got to laugh at these posers who say they ran a 4.5 at 15. At 15 your thicker muscle mass is really just starting to grow. At 15 if you're average height and weight and can run a 5.3 to a 5.5 consider it good. You may not get much faster, it all depends on your body style and how it developes. There is an old and very true saying that the one thing you can't coach is speed, you either have it or you don't. There is only so much that training and drills will do for you.

A 15 year old man should run a 40 in at least 4.5-5 and you want to lift weights just keep on getting buff and at least lift 250 Ilb. You should at least keep putting your feet al least 6' from the ground while you lay down and do the scissor kicks and other things

The fastest i've seen it run by a 15 year old run the 40 in was 4.3, but he was one of the most talented kids i've ever met, but i'd say about 4.9 is more than sufficient

You probably run a very slow 40 so why does it matter, only someone who is slow would ask this question.
